The Guangdong International Education Promotion Association is an international education and related community organization initiated by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It was officially established in December 2015. Under the leadership and support of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Council of the Promotion Association has always adhered to the correct policy of running the association, and has achieved positive results in various work such as running the association in accordance with the law, organizational development, functional construction, role playing, and strengthening party building. It has been recognized by relevant government departments and recognized by the industry and society. In December 2018, it was rated as a 5A level association organization in Guangdong Province.

The Guangdong Provincial Association for the Promotion of International Education actively implements the "Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area", and fully utilizes the strategic development opportunities of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area through an international, market-oriented, standardized, and professional organizing model. It actively cooperates with the implementation of the national strategy of "revitalizing the country through science and education, and strengthening the country through talent", and unites various relevant institutions and professionals engaged in or concerned with the development of international education both inside and outside Guangdong Province, Building a comprehensive service platform for win-win cooperation in the field of international education, actively advocating the standardized development of international education, leveraging social organizational functions, supporting government work, serving industry institutions, and serving society, creating a healthy and orderly atmosphere for industry development. In the new situation, exploring new ideas in the field of international education and seeking new development in the international education industry.

At present, the Promotion Association has established the Study Abroad Service Branch, the International School Professional Committee, the Study Abroad Safety Professional Committee, the 1847 International Education Platform, the Study Abroad Copywriting Service Center, the International Talent Professional Committee, the International Art Education Professional Committee, the International Certification Professional Committee, the High end Study Abroad and Employment Guidance Special Committee, the B2B Peer Service Exchange Special Committee, the Youth Artificial Intelligence Special Committee, and the Vocational Education Professional Committee Professional institutions such as the Innovation Talent Training Professional Committee, the Brain Olympics Committee, the Multilingual Education Professional Committee, the Continuing Education Guidance Professional Committee, and the Innovation Technology Education Professional Committee have branches (offices) in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, and other places. They have also established international student service stations in multiple cities in countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
